he PENTEK CBC-10 Reduces to 0.5 microns (nominal) : 

• Cysts; Cryptosporidium, Giardia, Entamoeba and Toxoplasma.
• Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOCs).
• Chlorine Taste and Odour.
• Bad Taste and Odour.
• Sediment.

Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 for the reduction of Chlorine Taste and Odour. As with all built-in refrigerator water filters, the Pentek CBC-10 does not remove Fluoride.

• The Pentek CBC-10 filter cartridge fits the following water filter housings.

• The Pentek CBC-10 Carbon Water Filter, W.5CB, also known as American Plumber W.5CB, features a 0.5 micron rating and removes chlorine taste & odor, cysts, and sediment in your drinking water. The CBC-10 water filter is also known as the CBC-10 or CBC10 by Ametek, Culligan, US Filter, Pentek, Bruner, and Kleen Plus. The CBC-10 water filter also replaces the Keystone 910 Filter Cartridge, Honeywell RF-65 Filter, Everpure EV9108-53, Kenmore 42-34370 and Costguard CG53-10 Filter.

Note : This Pentek carbon filter should be changed every 6-12 months or 1,000 Gallons. This water filter cartridge is also known by Pentek part number 155162-43.

Important: Some manufacturers use the same fridge model number for fridges supplied with both internal and external filter systems, please make sure that your fridge uses an External fridge water filter before you place the order.
