• • MATRIKX® CTO® (formerly CTO/2) filters are the most widely used carbon block devices in the world and provide previously unattainable performance. MATRIKX® CTO® filters simultaneously remove chlorine taste and odor and organic chemicals that contribute to taste and odor while providing the particulate filtration and dirt-holding capacity of an effcient 5 µm nominal sediment filter.

• MATRIKX® CTO® filters consist of activated carbon particles fused into a uniform block with enhanced adsorptive capacity and effciency. MATRIKX® CTO® filters flow in a radial (outside-to-inside) direction, providing increased dirt-holding capacity and low pressure drop. Unlike granular activated carbon (GAC) filters, MATRIKX® CTO® cartridges will not channel or bypass due to the extreme uniformity of their extruded activated carbon core. Service life of the MATRIKX® CTO® filter is greatly extended by a prefiltration medium.

Memo : If present, remove the dust caps from the quick connect fittings at each end of the filter prior to installation. These dust caps are to protect the filter in transit and will prevent water flow through the filter if not removed prior to installation.

Important: Some manufacturers use the same fridge model number for fridges supplied with both internal and external filter systems, please make sure that your fridge uses an External fridge water filter before you place the order.
