The DD-7098 497818 water filter cartridge for Bosch Side By Side type fridges : 

Original external refrigerator water filter , is a replacement cartridge for side-by-side refrigerators that use externally fitting cartridges designed to be installed on the 1/4" diameter cold water supply line to the refrigerator/icemaker, connector type water filter uses 1/4" (6.35 mm) quick-connect (push fit) fittings.

The DD7098 Water Filter reduces the following health related contaminants:

• Chlorine Taste and Odour
• Particulate (Class III) 
• Sediments
• Dirt
• Rust

Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 for the reduction of Chlorine Taste and Odour. As with all built-in refrigerator water filters, the DD7098 does not remove Fluoride.

Note: The filter provides cleaner, fresher water & ice.

Important: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by the water filter device are not necessarily in your water

nstallation and replacement procedure for the DD7098 Universal Filter water filter :

1. Turn off the cold water supply.
2. Remove the tubing from the ends of the old filter. Note: Take precautions as water will drain from the filter and pipes.
3. Align the new water filter with the water make sure flow direction.
4. Connect the tubing to the appropriate end of the filter by firmly pushing the tubing all the way until tightly sealed.
5. Turn on the water supply and switch on the ice maker.
6. Run water through the dispenser for 3 minutes to purge the system.
7. Check the filter area for leaks.
8. Reset the "change filter" indicator light, if your fridge has one.

NOTE:There is a replacement indicator light for the water filter cartridge on the dispenser. The filter cartridge should be replaced when the filter light comes on, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in flow of water.

Important: Some manufacturers use the same fridge model number for fridges supplied with both internal and external filter systems, please make sure that your fridge uses an External fridge water filter before you place the order.
